ABOUT ME

BOOK A CONSULT

Cassandra Weeden, MA, LMHC, LPCC

I’m a creative spirit, artist, book lover, nature enthusiast, recreational ballerina, and lifelong student. I’m endlessly curious about how we connect with ourselves and with others, and how those connections guide our healing, growth, and the relationships between the many parts within us.

Having lived between the United Kingdom and both the East and West Coasts of the United States, I’ve come to appreciate how culture, belonging, and place shape the inner voices that form our sense of self.

I hold a Master’s in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. My approach to therapy is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and has evolved to include depth-oriented work, integrating curiosity about the unconscious with compassion for the rich complexity of our inner worlds.

Alongside my private practice experience, I also served as a mental health clinician in the City of New York Mayor’s Office during the COVID-19 pandemic, where I provided psychiatric first aid, and at the University of Washington Medical Center, where I supported community health initiatives.

I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a member of the Association for the Study of Death and Society. I am licensed to practice as a psychotherapist in New York and Washington as an LMHC, and in California as an LPCC.

Bonnie Mae

Bonnie is a Chocolate Labrador and an emotional therapy dog in training. She’s from rural eastern Oregon and loves swimming, though she’s definitely not a fan of the heat.

She often visits the office and loves to sit with clients. You might even catch her lying on the couch in my therapy room, happily showing her belly.

Her favorite snacks include cheese cubes, salmon skin treats, and kiddie cups of vanilla ice cream.
